The China Exchange Program for Young International (CEP), hosted by Prof. LIU Qinhuo from the Aerospace Information Research Institute (AIR), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), has successfully concluded. The program brought together three early-career researchers from Ghana and Pakistan for in-depth academic and cultural exchanges, focusing on Earth observation and ecosystem monitoring under the frameworks of the Global Ecosystems and Environment Observation Analysis Research Cooperation (GEOARC) and the Asia-Oceania Group on Earth Observations (AOGEO).

The Xixia Imperial Tombs in northwest China were officially inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List on July 11, 2025, during the 47th session of the World Heritage Committee held in Paris. This designation marks China's 60th World Heritage site and underscores the site's exceptional value in understanding the Tangut people, the Xixia Dynasty (Western Xia, 1038–1227), and the formation of China's unified multi-ethnic nation.

A high-level side event titled "Digital Technologies for the Sustainable Development of World Heritage Sites" took place on July 12, 2025, at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris during the 47th session of the World Heritage Committee. It was co-organized by the International Centre on Space Technologies for Natural and Cultural Heritage (HIST) under the auspices of UNESCO, the United Nations Satellite Centre (UNOSAT), Beijing Central Axis Protection Foundation, and Tencent's Sustainable Social Value Organization.
